The “Tocino Meets Feminine Napkin” Shot

One of the best things about cameraphones is when you see something weird, you can immediately capture it for posterity right there and then. My latest feat was seeing this headline in a tabloid, taking a photo with my Nokia, and sending it straight to Flickr via my account’s email gateway. From then on, it’s just a short hop and skip to my blog and subsequent Facebook glory.
I will refrain from elaborating the bizarre circumstances of this headline (I didn’t shoot much of the news item’s body text itself since the headline occupies most of the page), but I’ll leave it to your imagination to run wild. Keep the headline in mind the next time you’re at the meat section of the supermarket.
